CIHR-SPOR Mentoring Chair in Innovative, Patient-Oriented, Behavioural Clinical Trials (Chair 1)
Canada Research Chairs | Canada – Global
The CIHR-SPOR Mentoring Chair in Innovative, Patient-Oriented, Behavioural Clinical Trials is an innovative project that supports methodological advancements in the development and testing of behavioural and behaviour change interventions. Through the use of a variety of funding and training opportunities, the Chair provides students, fellows, and early career researchers with access to leading international researchers who have demonstrated track records of developing interventions, creating and using innovative trial designs, and engaging multiple interested parties in that process. Dr. Simon Bacon is the primary recipient of the chair, but he is supported by a team of investigators and numerous provincial, national, and international partners. The project is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).
