The University of Toronto Centre for the Study of Pain is a virtual centre that brings together outstanding scientists, clinicians, educators and trainees working in the Faculties of dentistry, pharmacy, medicine and nursing to address the chronic pain crisis. It is home to one of the largest networks of researchers in pain worldwide. The Centre serves as a catalyst for progress by mobilizing partners and resources to improve the outcomes of those living with pain. In all of its activities, it acts as a vital, internationally focused centre addressing the research to practice gap.
The UTCSP’s mission is to develop and share knowledge about pain and to promote quality clinical practice through interdisciplinary collaboration. The UTCSP offers its members learning opportunities through courses, educational workshops, and summer schools, provides opportunities to network and present scholarly work, and has a robust scholarship program for outstanding students.
