Centre of Excellence on Partnership with Patients and the Public (CEPPP)
Canada Research Chairs | Québec
The Centre of Excellence on Partnership with Patients and the Public (CEPPP) aims to make collaboration with patients and the public a science, culture, and new standard in order to improve the health and experience of all. A joint initiative of the Université de Montréal (UdeM), the UdeM Faculty of Medicine and the Centre de recherche du Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CRCHUM). A world pioneer in the science of partnership, the CEPPP promotes interprofessional collaboration and the integration of the patient into their care team. The CEPPP also manages a patient engagement support platform – the PPP Platform – which offers a range of services for researchers and health care and service providers and assists them in developing their patient partnership capacities. A methodology derived from CEPPP research serves as a framework to inform and guide platform users through the process of working with patient partners.
