CIHR’s Patient-Oriented Research Awards
These Canadian Institute of Health Research’s POR Awards – Transition to Leadership Stream are supported by PASSERELLE and aim to help the timely transition of individuals in a research fellowship into an independent research career. Phase 1 of the award provided a stipend and an allowance for professional development and research, while Phase 2 provides recipients with salary support and a research allowance to launch their patient-oriented research career. Congratulations to the recent award winners of phase 2: Anna Chudyk, Amanda Fowler-Woods, Tanya Halsall, Ambreen Sayani, Laura Schummers, Samuel Turcotte and Linzi Williamson!
