Onboarding Process in Patient-oriented Research

PASSERELLE and the CIHR Network Catalyst Grant in Youth Mental Health are invested in gaining a deeper understanding of the experience of onboarding within patient-oriented research, with a view of developing useful processes, tips, and resources – Onboarding Guides - that reflects collective experiential learning. These Onboarding Guides will highlight the importance of and provides processes, tips, resources and activities leading to meaningful partnerships and mentorship, appropriate logistics and support, and active communication across members. These guides will ultimately serve as a tool to ensure the dignity of and professional development of patient partners in patient-oriented research.
