Our POR-Mitacs Fellows advance higher education accessibility

We congratulate the Participation sociale et villes inclusives (PSVI) research team for its contribution to the 18th Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe (AAATE) International Conference, held recently in Cyprus.

At the conference, team members presented their research and participated in discussions that led to the Nicosia Declaration, a call to make accessibility, universal design, and assistive technologies the pillars of a more inclusive, equitable, and high-quality higher education system.

We are particularly proud to see our POR-Mitacs Fellows, Clémence Paquin, Bérangère Naudé, and Marie-Hélène Verret-Corriveau, take part in this work and help advance discussions on accessibility and inclusion in higher education.

We congratulate them, as well as the entire PSVI team, for this important contribution to advancing research and developing more inclusive practices.
